Regulations of the International Scientific Conference „Progressio Infantis 2024”

  1. The International Scientific Conference „Progressio Infantis 2024”, hereinafter referred to as the „Conference”, is devoted to the development of the child in its various aspects.
  2. The conference will be held on 24-25.05.2024 in a hybrid form, i.e. in lecture room W1 at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Medical University of Wrocław, 211 Borowska Street, 50-556 Wrocław and online on the Zoom platform
  3. The conference is organized by the Department of Physiotherapy of the Medical University of Wrocław. The conference is co-organized by the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Medical University of Wrocław and the Students’ Scientific Association No. 15 „Progressio Infantis”.
  4. The conference has an international character and is addressed to scientists, practitioners, parents, educators and students of various faculties related to the issues of child development.
  5. Passive and active participation in all events of the Conference is free of charge.
  6. During the Conference, the following are planned: Expert Sessions, Student Scientific Sessions and a practical Workshop Session
  7. During the Conference, there will be a Competition of Student Scientific Papers presented orally or in the form of a poster.
  8. The organization of Student Scientific Sessions within the framework of the Conference is subject to the following rules:
    1. Only research papers or case reports should be submitted;
    2. Applications for scientific sessions will be accepted via the online form in accordance with the presented schedule,
    3. Active participants are those who send the abstract of the thesis to the following address within the required deadline: progressioinfantis@gmail.com; the abstract should be prepared in English in accordance with the template available on the Conference website: https://konferencje.umw.edu.pl/progressioinfantis/,
    4. The Scientific Committee of the Conference decides on the qualification of the paper for scientific sessions; active participants will be informed about this fact by e-mail,
    5. A participant qualified to participate in a scientific session is obliged to present an oral paper or present a poster in front of the Scientific Committee in accordance with the submitted abstract,
    6. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to decide on the form of presentation of the work,
    7. There is a possibility of authorship and/or co-authorship in up to three papers participating in scientific sessions,
    8. The languages of presentation applicable at the Conference are: English and Polish,
    9. The duration of the oral presentation is 10 minutes,
    10. The Scientific Committee will select the three best papers in each session, including students’ papers; in addition, the best research paper, the best case study and the work with the highest score by passive participants will be awarded; detailed criteria for the evaluation of works and awarding prizes will be published in the Regulations of the Scientific Papers
    11. The list of winners will be published on the Conference website: http:// www.progressioinfantis.umed.wroc.pl/.
  9. The program of the Conference will be available on the http://www.progressioinfantis.umed.wroc.pl/ website and on the event’s Facebook page.
  10. The organizers reserve the right to change the program.
  11. All participants of the Conference will receive an electronic certificate of participation, sent by e-mail within 5 days after the end of the Conference. On-site participants will also receive a package of conference materials.
  12. Any disputes or issues not included in these Regulations shall be resolved by the Chairman of the Organizing Committee.
  13. The Participant undertakes to follow the changes in the Regulations and in the ‘News’ tab on the Conference website and the event on Facebook.
  14. The Regulations take effect on the day of their publication on the Conference website.
  15. Events related to the Conference will be filmed and photographed by the Organizers.
  16. The Organizer is entitled to disseminate photo and audiovideo documentation of the events and to use the above-mentioned documentation for promotional and information purposes, as well as to place the documentation on the Conference website.
  17. By participating in the Conference, the Participants agree to the recording and dissemination by the Organizers of their image as part of the documentation of the Conference for the purpose of information and promotion of the Conference, including placing them on the Conference website and social networking sites as part of the Conference profile.
  18. Registration via the online form is tantamount to acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Information on the processing of personal data

The administrator of the personal data of the Conference Participants is the Medical University of Wroclaw, Wybrzeże Ludwika Pasteura 1, 50-367 Wrocław. The personal data of the Conference Participants will be processed for the purpose of registering the Participants and receiving information from the Conference organizers via e-mail – based on the Participant’s consent, i.e. Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR,

  • personal data of the Conference Participants will be stored for the period of registration and duration of the Conference and for the mandatory period to store documentation for the purpose of preparing post-conference materials,
  • the recipients of the personal data of the Conference Participants will be: the organizers of the Conference handling e-mail, Facebook and entities authorized to obtain personal data on the basis of legal provisions (including public administration bodies),
  • Participants of the Conference have the right to access their personal data and the right to rectify, delete, limit processing, the right to transfer data, the right to object, in cases specified in the provisions of the GDPR,
  • if the processing is based on the Participant’s consent, the Participant has the right to withdraw the consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing that was carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal,
  • Conference Participants have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if the processing of personal data of Conference Participants violates the provisions of the GDPR.
